The Camel, commonly symbolized as the Ship of the Desert is considered a symbol of the Emirate’s pride and prosperity.  This unique animal has been a system of transportation from times past as well as a reliable source of milk.

In order to ensure that the camels are not overworked, we have the following weight specifications for riding- a maximum of 250Ibs. Children must be at least four years old to ride the camels.

Also do take note that riding a Camel requires agility, so, expectant mother, and those with back, knee or joint problems are advised not to ride.

We feature a complimentary pick up from locations in the city to our port in the desert, where you enjoy a ride on our camels to our Bedouin-style camp filled with royal desert treats such as a delicious 4-course banquet. Watch falconry, dancing to traditional music and get a henna tattoo, tanoura and belly dances among other delights of our desert camp.

The Camel safari package only features camel riding as a means of transport. It is suitable for those who prefer a gentler and more relaxing safari through the desert, enjoying the extraordinary wildlife view of the desert.

Memoirs, and photographs are also available for purchase at our campsite and our conveniences are well taken care of.
